‘Uniqlo’ Short For ‘Unique Typo’

One of its largest, with nearly 20 million people, is misspelled. B-E-I-J-I-N-G, folks.

Odder still, Uniqlo is a Japanese company, creating “casual clothes for all kinds of people”–sort of an H&M of the Far East. They’re, like, neighbors with China. They should know better. Someone should’ve caught this.

Nice one. Hope your grand opening at 53rd and 5th goes better than your ad campaign.
