    I remember the hawthorne station just like that….well, maybe my grandfather does…. But the house in the background, white, is still there…it was an engineering firm and now its mixed offices but you can still see if today. amazing. I do remember before there were platforms, elec choo choos, and i do remember the ramp just to the right of the station…it was there to assist you in boarding…very cool pic. Obviously taken from the north east elevation, perhaps up on Commerce Street looking down…..thanks.
